With our Portuguese Way, you will walk through wonderful natural landscapes and crossed the international bridge over the River "Minho". Since the City of Fatima - Portugal, we do in the road and then we walk on the Camino, from Valença do Minho to Santiago de Compostela.

Day by day program 

Our meeting point will be at Fatima - South Rotunda to 13h20m, (or in a place to combine). Where we will leave heading for Valença do Minho. The estimated time of arrival in Valencia Minho will be at 17:30. Here after stamping the first "sello" in the credential quite literally take the first step towards Santiago, on this first day walked about 4km to Tui, where we will spend the first night.

Tui - Fraela (25.1Km)

With the exit in the city of Tui, we completed the stage at the top of the village of Fraela. At this stage we can admire the fantastic woods, by which we will walk during the day. Passing through the town of Porriño follows the ascent of Mos, which done at the end of this day of walking. Then we continue in our private vehicle to Redondela, here we spend the night in private Hostel.

Fraela - Pontevedra (26.1Km)

Today the first kilometers will be done in our private car to the start of the stage in Fraela which done yesterday. After passing the beautiful woods before city that welcomed us yesterday, here we are again in Redondela. Since Redondela the path snaking the "Ria Viguesa" and the "Ria de Pontevedra", our stage today ends in Pontevedra, the "Capital" of the Portuguese Way in Galicia.

Pontevedra - Caldas de Rei (21.1Km)

Today's stage is one of the most beautiful in the Portuguese Way in Galicia. Vineyards, small rural chapels, chestnut woods, pine and eucalyptus trees, set the tone for that before the end of the stage we can rest in Mills of Barosa, a great natural place with waterfalls and natural pools. Today we passed the night in Caldas de Rei city spa with hot springs.

Caldas de Rei - Escravitude (24.7Km)

With "Caldas Rei" back, the path continues in the beautiful valley of Bermaña and its centennial woods. We will pass the city with famous peppers, the city of Padrón, as legend has it was where the boat docked with the body of the Apostle Santiago coming from Palestine. Padrón will also be the location where we will stay overnight. For this we will return in our private car from the Church of The Escravitude.

A Escravitude - Santiago (17.6Km)

The day of excitement!

Today we will leave in our private car to the start of the stage, the huge church of The Escravitude, here will be the starting point for the last 17 kilometers of the Portuguese Way to get to the Cathedral of Santiago, with the arrival to the early afternoon, the group can go to the much desired hug the Apostle Santiago.

Free day in Santiago and return to Fatima

Free day in Santiago, where we recommend watching the Pilgrim Mass, in which we get the chance we can still watch the famous "Boot-smoker" in the Cathedral. We can go collect your Compostela, visit the old town full of monuments, squares and streets. You can see the market where we can buy local products.

 

After the visit and the appointed time for all, we return to Fatima.

MEALS

All breakfasts are included.

 

And are included snacks, power bars, fruit, water (small snacks) and over throughout the Way.

 

Lunch and dinner NOT included,

whereas for dinner, there is the possibility of cooking in hostels, as they are equipped with kitchen.

 

It is recommended to bring food for the first day.

ACCOMMODATION

All overnight stays are included, will be 6 nights in private hostels that carefully selected to make you feel at home.

 

The hostels are equipped with: free use kitchen, washing Machine and dryer, Internet  (Wi-Fi); bar and restaurant.

Sleeping in hostels is necessary to bring sleeping bag.

 

Selected Hostels by us, are comfortable and will be a point of sharing experiences with other pilgrims also that way overnight.

HIKING

You walk at your own pace. The path is well signposted and will not have to follow anyone. We have meeting points along the way with our support vehicle, roughly 4 in 4 kilometers. The support vehicle will have at your disposal: Snacks, energy bars, fruit and water and also ensure that all is well with you. We also offer assistance for unexpected situations or simply to relieve some muscle pain and blisters on the feet that may arise.

Do not worry that the road is never alone, and if for any reason you can not keep walking, you can help yourself from our car to support or want to continue the journey the next day.

TRANSPORT

Our path begins in the city of Fatima with the point of appointment on Saturdays.

Yet so as desired, we can go search it at Lisbon Airport, the Port Airport, your home, or anywhere, you just send us a message we will try to make you get all the details, and the additional cost inherent in it.

Extra Nights: if you want to stay a few days in Santiago or in Portugal, even if it is before or after performing the way, we are at your disposal to assist and we will be delighted to help in the whole process.
